<P><FONT face=新細明體>這個樣很醜但唱歌很溫柔的肥仔，名叫Paul Potts，前日抵港昨日舉行記者會為新碟One Chance造勢，即席連唱兩首歌，還吸引到<SPAN id=柏林 style="DISPLAY: inline"><SPAN class="vl_kw vl_vlkw">柏林</SPAN></SPAN>影展最佳電影音樂得主<SPAN id=金培達 style="DISPLAY: inline"><SPAN class="vl_kw vl_vlkw">金培達</SPAN></SPAN>來捧場。</FONT></P>

<P><FONT face=新細明體>Paul Potts穿著筆挺西裝出席記者會，雖然一瞬間紅遍英倫，他卻仍然有點靦腆，回答提問不時會仰望上方，但他表現親切，出場時先用廣東話講了一句「大家好」，然後唱出參加Britain's Got Talent的決賽歌曲Time To Say Goodbye，以及他在新碟One Chance中最喜歡的一曲--來自歌劇《杜蘭朵》的Nessun Dorma，可能因為舟車勞頓加上早起等因素影響，Paul Potts唱畢後輕輕轉身咳了兩聲。</FONT></P>

<P><FONT face=新細明體>Paul Potts表示會愛上音樂，全憑10歲時看了史匹堡（Steven Spielberg）的名作《ET外星人》電影配樂所感動，於是決心向歌手之路進發。今年底將會在英女王御前演出的Paul Potts向來自信不足，他笑言當日參加Britain's Got Talent比賽，猶豫良久最終還是擲毫決定；也可能因為自信不足，所以Paul Potts說話時經常會眼望天花板，他也解釋不到所為何事。不過，他說，新碟取名One Chance，有把握機會的意思，就像他當初如果不是選擇了參賽之路，也不會有名成利就的今天。</FONT></P>
